Former Censorship Leader in the Biden Regime Can’t Explain the First Amendment

Former White House Director of Digital Strategy Robert Flaherty has been called to the carpet to face questions about government censorship. Focusing specifically on his time after January 2021 in the Biden administration, they focused on his involvement with influencing social media companies to promote censorship. Done on Biden’s behalf, Flaherty focused on COVID-19 and vaccinations.

Rep. Kat Cammack (F-FL) asked him about the First Amendment. She asked him to outline the five tenants of it, and Flaherty found himself lost. “Congresswoman, I’m not gonna be able to do it off the top of my head, but generally, the First Amendment relates to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly,” Flaherty said. “Off the top of my head, I’m not able to recall all of the planks.”

With a quick wit, Cammack explained that this makes the whole thing more awkward. “Oof, well that’s disappointing and a little embarrassing, but not surprising considering what we’re dealing with here today. Now I certainly wouldn’t expect that someone who can’t outline the basic tenets of the First Amendment to uphold the First Amendment of which you took an oath to defend, but here we are today.”

This simple retort could not be more indicative of the problem with the liberals today. With liberal politicians silencing people for disagreeing with what they have to say on a subject, they fail to understand what the First Amendment means for individuals. As we can see here, Flaherty and at least a few other people must not understand what it means for the government, either.

Per emails released by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) back in November on X, Flaherty explicitly told YouTube leadership to clamp the lid on vaccine-related content. Yet he also wasn’t working alone. Other evidence proves the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency formed an advisory committee about handling risks surrounding large events- specifically, the public health, financial systems, and elections. Going after left-based research groups for the project they made it incredibly obvious how slanted they wanted the suggestions to be.

Misinformation, information manipulation as well as restricting the exchange of information is not legal for the government. Now someone needs to be held accountable, and Flaherty is just the first of many to come for the years of Biden.
